CoBiuty
Definition
COBIUTY is the extract of the fruit pulp of Mauritia flexuosa L. , also known as Miriti, Buriti or Aguaje , it is a palm tree species native to the Peruvian Amazon.
Aguaje is one of the most important palms in Amazonia for its economic, social and ecological value , including its role in aquatic ecosystems and its many cultural uses, especially its fruit.
It is the richest plant source of carotenoids (vitamin A / Retinol ), tocopherols (vitamin E ) and vitamin C, potent antioxidants capable of neutralizing and protecting the skin from free radicals.
While it is common to find Buriti oil extract , COBIUTY is the first cosmetic active ingredient based on its pulp extract and to elaborate it we upcycle the agricultural by-product generated after buriti fruits are pressed to obtain its oil.
