StemCem Quillay

Epidermal cohesion for a strengthened skin barrier

Definition

StemCem Quillay is a stem cell extract derived from Quillaja saponaria, an endemic species native to central Chile, known for its resistance to extreme conditions (very dry environments, extreme temperatures, and poor soils).

The extraordinary properties of this iconic tree have been valued since the 15th century by the Mapuche people.

This powerful ingredient plays a crucial role in maintaining skin health by promoting essential bonding proteins: filaggrins. Filaggrin, found in the deeper layers of the epidermis, forming the skin barrier by promoting the aggregation of keratinocytes and facilitating cohesion between epidermal cells.
