Passionare
Definition
Passionare, a water-soluble extract of the passion fruit seed, is an active ingredient that uses the dry residue of the seed that remains after obtaining the oil, Passionare Oil.
Passionare is an excellent active ingredient that contains a large amount of polyphenols. This composition has great antioxidant power, as well as excellent anti-aging properties.
This “upcycled” active ingredient is developed as a solution to the significant volume of waste generated daily by the processing of passion fruit, which can reach up to 68% of the total fruit. The use of the seeds is crucial, since they represent up to 27% of the total weight of the fruit and contain a high percentage of extractable oil, which reaches up to 33.5%.
