Passionare Oil
Definition
Passionare Oil is a 100% natural cold-pressed oil derived from Passiflora Edulis, commonly known as passion fruit. It is sustainably harvested on the northern coast of Peru.
This upcycled active ingredient was developed as a solution to the significant volume of waste generated daily by the processing of passion fruit, which can reach up to 68% of the total fruit. The utilisation of the seeds is crucial, as they represent up to 27% of the total weight of the fruit and contain a high percentage of extractable oil, up to 33.5%.
Passionare Oil is an excellent ingredient with a high lipid profile. Its versatility allows it to be used both on the skin, improving its hydration, and on hair, curbing the frizz effect and colour loss.
